ABC’s freshman crime drama, High Potential, is about to ditch the procedural formula and crank up the tension. Tuesday’s episode, “One of Us,” finds the LAPD, including our unconventional heroine Morgan (Kaitlin Olson ), trapped in a rather inconvenient hostage situation. Looks like those by-the-book procedures aren’t much help when disgruntled acquaintances of a convicted felon decide to take over the precinct.
So, while the kettle boils and the hostage-takers make their demands (presumably not involving tea and biscuits), the question becomes: can Morgan and her more traditional detective partner Karadec (Daniel Sunjata) use their, shall we say, combined skill set to resolve this without anyone getting a complimentary bullet hole?
This isn’t your typical Tuesday night crime-solving scenario. It’s a high-stakes pressure cooker, testing not only Morgan’s unorthodox methods but also the still-developing partnership with her rule-following colleague. Let’s see if their teamwork can withstand a bit of forced confinement.
Tune in to ABC on Tuesday, November 12th at 10/9c to see if anyone manages to bring snacks to this impromptu precinct lockdown.
