Lifetime’s latest holiday offering, “Holiday in Happy Hollow,” appears to be a fairly standard heartwarming Christmas movie with a real estate twist. Real estate developer Gracie (Tamara Almeida) has her sights set on a Christmas tree farm, but her plans hit a snag. Turns out, the farm has a quirky tradition: tiny, one-foot deeds were raffled off to local families years ago. Now, Gracie has the unenviable task of convincing these families to part with their sentimental plots of land.
Adding a dash of predictable holiday romance, Gracie teams up with local historian Jack (Cody Ray Thompson). Together, they embark on a quest to track down the deed holders and uncover the stories behind their cherished one-foot farms. Will Gracie manage to buy back the land and fulfill her Christmas tree farm dreams? Will sparks fly between her and Jack amidst the festive cheer?
