In the Friday 21 June episode of Home and Away, Tane’s life takes an unexpected turn as he finally comes face-to-face with Marshall, who happens to be Felicity’s one-night stand.
Unaware of Marshall’s profession, Felicity is left mortified when she spots him with Tane and Harper at Salt. Her attempt at a discreet conversation with Marshall is overheard by Tane, leading to a heated argument between the ex-spouses.
Meanwhile, Tane’s timely check-in with Rose hits a snag, and he finds himself in a precarious situation. Elsewhere, the film crew’s presence in Summer Bay creates a buzz, but Alf remains sceptical, expressing his concerns to Roo about the town’s best interests.
The episode sees Tane’s world collide with Marshall’s as they meet for the first time. Marshall, all business, makes it clear that he means no time-wasting with a charge as serious as Tane’s. Tane agrees, and accompanied by Harper, they head to Salt, where a shocked Felicity spots them. Still riding high on her one-night stand with Marshall, she’s now faced with the reality of his connection to her ex-husband.
Felicity, unaware of Marshall’s occupation, pulls him aside to discreetly warn him about his client. However, Tane overhears the conversation and jumps to conclusions, assuming Felicity is meddling in his life yet again. Their argument escalates, and Tane misses crucial calls from Rose about his check-in, leaving him in a potentially compromising situation.
Meanwhile, the film crew’s presence in Summer Bay has everyone busy, especially Marilyn, who runs out of milk at the Coffee Cart. Kirby lends a helping hand at the Diner, providing much-needed relief to Irene. The town’s institutions are feeling the pressure, and Alf voices his scepticism about the film crew’s intentions, clashing with Roo over her request for more lifeguards on patrol.
