The drama continues in Summer Bay as Channel 5 airs Episode 8259 of Home and Away on Thursday, 27 June.
In this episode, we find Nelson and Bree content and cozy in bed, their days having turned out just as they wanted. However, their peaceful morning is disrupted by the unexpected return of Stevie, accompanied by none other than Remi! The situation becomes increasingly awkward for Bree as she finds herself in close proximity to her ex and his new romantic interest. Despite Nelson’s reassurances that both Remi and Bree have moved on, the tension is palpable.
The next morning, Remi emerges from Stevie’s bedroom, only to witness a passionate moment between Nelson and Bree. Remi’s discomfort grows as he sees Bree leave on the back of Nelson’s motorcycle, a reminder of the catalyst for his breakup with Bree. When confronted by Bree, however, she clarifies that their relationship ended not because of the bike but because of the lies he told her.
Meanwhile, John is ecstatic about his upcoming “live television debut,” enthusiastically discussing his cameo with Xander. He insists that Dana and Xander join him for the live cross. However, when the Sunrise crew arrives the next day, John is noticeably absent, prompting Alf to step in and save the day. The interview goes well, but some members of the group are notably absent, including Bree and Remi, who were dealing with their own issues.
Nelson finds Bree at home, where she reveals that she left the filming early because she wanted to talk to Remi. Understanding her need for closure, Nelson invites Bree to spend the afternoon riding on his bike, offering her a much-needed break from the drama with her ex.
Back at home, Remi unpacks the tension with Eden, who points out that he did lie to Bree. Remi maintains that their breakup was primarily about the bike, but Eden challenges him, pointing out that he is moving on with Stevie. Remi admits that he is struggling to deal with Stevie’s intense personality. When she demands more of his time to run lines with her, Remi snaps, asserting that he is not her boyfriend. Is Remi still holding a torch for Bree?
Elsewhere, Dana, who has been spending a lot of time at Xander’s place, seems oblivious to the hints that her presence may be too much for him. When Bree suggests she shower elsewhere after using Xander’s conditioner, Dana is taken aback. Her concerns grow when Xander expresses his feelings of being crowded in his own home. Has Dana overstayed her welcome?
