A fellow Alaskan homesteader has suffered a devastating setback: a plane crash has not only destroyed his vital transportation but also cut off access to his isolated property. Stranded across a treacherous river, he’s dangerously underprepared for the rapidly approaching winter, facing a perilous situation with dwindling supplies and limited means of self-sufficiency.
The Raneys immediately recognize the gravity of the situation. With their own homestead demanding attention, they must make a difficult choice: postpone their crucial winterizing tasks or answer the urgent call for aid.
