On Monday, 19 August 2024, A&E will air two back-to-back episodes of the documentary series Houses of Horror: Secrets of College Greek Life. The episodes, titled “Hazed to Death” and “Operation Sudden Fall,” explore the dark side of fraternity and sorority culture and its devastating consequences.

“Hazed to Death” focuses on Tim Piazza, a Penn State freshman pledge who consumed a lethal amount of alcohol during a hazing ritual at the Beta Theta Pi house.

“Operation Sudden Fall” shifts to San Diego State University and a DEA undercover sting operation following campus overdose deaths in 2007. The episode centers on a Theta Chi brother allegedly dealing cocaine and other fraternity members involved in drug dealing, exposing the intersection of Greek life and substance abuse.
