ITV Secures “Welcome to Chippendales” and “Culprits” for Free-to-Air Release

ITV has acquired two major series, Welcome to Chippendales and Culprits, from Disney Entertainment. Both shows are slated to be available for free later this year via ITVX, marking a notable addition to the streaming platform’s true crime and thriller offerings.

Welcome to Chippendales recounts the dramatic rise of Somen “Steve” Banerjee, an Indian immigrant who became the founder of a male-stripper empire, willing to cross any boundary to achieve success. The show features a cast including Kumail Nanjiani, Murray Bartlett, and Juliette Lewis, with guest appearances by Dan Stevens and Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Culprits is an intense crime thriller focusing on Joe Petrus, a man whose secret criminal past is catching up to him. With his family at risk, Joe returns to London to track down his former associates. This series boasts a British cast including Gemma Arterton, Nathan Stewart-Jarret and Niamh Algar.
