In the third episode of Joan on ITV1 on Sunday night Joan (Sophie Turner) is determined to provide a stable and secure home for Kelly, her foster child. In her quest to offer Kelly a better life, Joan finds herself entangled in a risky scheme with Boisie (Frank Dillane), as they plan to steal a valuable painting by the renowned artist George Stubbs.
However, their carefully laid plans take an unexpected turn when the owner’s ex-husband makes a surprise appearance, creating a challenging situation that Boisie handles in a way that displeases Joan. Disappointed and frustrated, Joan storms out, but she soon finds herself in a difficult position as a visit from social services looms.
Faced with the possibility of losing Kelly, Joan must make a difficult choice and reconcile with Boisie to ensure Kelly’s future.
