On Friday night’s third episode of Joan, Joan (Sophie Turner) is on a mission to provide a stable and secure home for her foster child, Kelly.
In her pursuit of offering Kelly a better life, Joan embarks on a risky venture with Boisie (Frank Dillane). They set their sights on stealing a valuable painting by the celebrated artist George Stubbs.
However, their meticulously planned scheme takes an unexpected twist when the painting owner’s ex-husband makes an unanticipated appearance, presenting a challenging situation.
Boisie’s handling of the situation leaves Joan disappointed and frustrated, leading her to abruptly leave. Soon after, Joan finds herself facing a potential visit from social services, which puts Kelly’s future in jeopardy.
As the situation intensifies, Joan must make a difficult choice and set aside her differences with Boisie to secure Kelly’s well-being. Will Joan and Boisie be able to put aside their disagreements for Kelly’s sake?
