In the fifth episode of Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story, airing at 9:00pm, we find Chloe back in Britain and caught in a media whirlwind. Despite a disastrous initial press statement that calls her character into question, Chloe is determined to share her story and change public perception.

She throws herself into interviews as a distraction from her emotions and struggles to balance the perks of newfound fame with the negative press and the betrayal of those once close to her.

In the sixth and final episode, airing at 9:30pm, the stakes are at their highest as Chloe awaits the verdict of the trial, seeking both justice and redemption for her damaged reputation. The press seizes on the new information released, and Chloe worries that the jury might be influenced by the public narrative. Her confidence wavers, and she contemplates whether to pursue a significant work opportunity on the horizon.

The double bill of episodes airs tonight, Wednesday 28 August 2024, from 9:00 pm on BBC Three.
