NBC has announced that the Emmy-nominated late-night talk show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, will present a primetime special, Closer Look Primetime. The hour-long live event on September 11 at 10 p.m. ET, will feature an extended “Closer Look” segment, providing satirical analysis of the previous night’s presidential debate.

Host Seth Meyers will offer a thoughtful, satirical take on breaking news and political developments from the debate. This format has earned the show millions of views and critical acclaim. The “Closer Look” segment, written by head writer Sal Gentile, Alex Baze, and Meyers, has received over 3 billion views since it began.
