Later… with Jools Holland returns to BBC Two with an impressive lineup of musical guests. The episode, airing on Saturday, 22 June 2024, features performances by Fontaines D.C., Lucy Rose, Tems, Charley Crockett, and Paris Paloma.
Dublin-based band Fontaines D.C. takes the stage with songs from their fourth album, “Romance.” Singer-songwriter Lucy Rose captivates the audience with two tracks from her fifth album, “This Ain’t the Way You Go Out.” Nigerian superstar Tems showcases her talent with the single “Love Me Jeje” from her recent album, “Born in the Wild.”
American blues and country singer Charley Crockett, along with his band, performs “Solitary Road” from his impressive 13th album, “$10 Cowboy.” And making her debut on the show, Derbyshire singer-songwriter Paris Paloma performs her viral hit, “Labour.”
In addition to these fantastic performances, Jools sits down for a chat with the legendary Scottish singer Lulu. They discuss her retirement tour, “Champagne for Lulu,” and her upcoming performance at Glastonbury 2024. Lulu and Jools also unite at the piano for a special performance of “Unchain My Heart,” originally recorded by Lulu’s inspiration, Ray Charles.
