Life Below Zero Key Art

On Tuesday night, Season 23 of Life Below Zero begins with a two-episode special. The first episode, at 9:00 PM, “Deep Dark Winter,” depicts Alaskans confronting the harsh onset of winter. A storm hits Kavik as Sue strengthens her camp, while Ricko searches for elusive wildlife and the Hailstones engage in ice fishing. Johnny focuses on securing food in the Brooks Range.

The second episode, “Night Moves,” highlights the increasingly erratic winter conditions, prompting Alaskans to adapt their strategies for survival.

Both episodes really bring to the fore the resilience and resourcefulness required to thrive in Alaska’s extreme environment.
