LIVE with Kelly and Mark welcomes actor Glen Powell, former basketball player and sports analyst Shaquille O’Neal (Shaq), and emergency room physician and author Dr. Sampson Davis.
Powell will discuss his role in the new disaster film Twisters. He is known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick, Hidden Figures, and Scream Queens. Powell has also ventured into writing and producing, co-writing and producing the dark comedy Hit Man, released in 2023.
Shaq, a 7-foot-1-inch former NBA center, is a four-time NBA champion. He is now a sports analyst on Inside the NBA and has appeared in numerous films and reality shows, including Shaq’s Big Challenge and Shaq Vs. Shaq is taking on hosting duties of new ABC game show Lucky 13 which premieres July 18.
Dr. Sampson Davis, an emergency room physician at Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, will demonstrate how to do the Heimlich maneuver and how to use an Epipen. He is the author of several books, including The Pact and Living and Dying in Brick City, and a co-founder of The Three Doctors Foundation, which offers health and mentoring programs to inner-city youth.
