The episode features two stories of couples that Kirstie and Phil previously helped get on the same page regarding their property search. The first couple, Carolyn and Paul, sought their assistance in 2013. At the time, they wanted to transition from renting to owning a home in London. With a budget of £330k, their wish list included a two-bed flat in or near Twickenham, with Carolyn dreaming of outdoor space for a unique reason—drying her knickers in the sun!
After viewing three properties with Kirstie, they made an offer on a two-bed split-level flat in St Margaret’s, successfully negotiating a price that was £8,000 below their budget and the asking price. Now, Phil revisits the couple, but at a location far from their previous home—130 miles north, to be precise.
The second story involves Anna and Graeme, who, in 2014, had an extensive property search history, having viewed over 50 homes in southwest Yorkshire. However, their progress was hindered by Graeme’s cautious approach, influenced by a previous negative experience with property investment.
With a budget of £250k, they sought a quirky countryside home with character, space for their crafting hobbies, and room for their dog, Lucky. Their search with Kirstie reflected their previous challenges, as Anna fell in love with a five-bedroom renovation project, but Graeme struggled to commit. Now, the show catches up with Anna and Graeme to uncover the twists and turns their journey has taken.
