Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace returns to ITV1 with a special episode, “What Happened Next?” on Monday, 24 June 2024, at 9:00 pm. This episode revisits the journeys of two foundlings, Caroline Harris-Gray and Harvey Shackell, as they continue to build family ties and make new discoveries.

Caroline, who was found in a vegetable box in a hospital’s matron office in North London in 1968, learns more about her birth father and connects with her paternal aunt and siblings. She also meets Jan, the police officer who was called to the hospital when she was discovered, and who has kept photos of Caroline for decades.

The team makes a significant breakthrough in Caroline’s case, providing long-awaited answers and facilitating heart-warming family connections.

He also updates us on his unique relationship with Vera Wood, the woman on whose doorstep he was left, and shares how this connection has helped him through grief.
