Married at First Sight Season 18, Episode 2 Spoilers

Married at First Sight Season 18 is off to a brisk start, thankfully skipping the drawn-out pre-wedding fluff and getting straight to the altar. Episode 1 introduced Thomas and Camille, whose nuptials hit a snag when Camille experienced a pre-ceremony freakout. Bridesmaid intervention averted a runaway bride situation, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger, with viewers eager to see the remaining couples tie the knot.

Episode 2, titled “Windy City Weddings,” looks set to deliver more matrimonial mayhem. The experts seem to be embracing the “opposites attract” philosophy this season, which, as any seasoned MAFS viewer knows, can be a recipe for disaster.

A recent teaser hints at potential drama: one groom harbors a secret that could jeopardize his marriage, while another, Juan, gets teary-eyed before even seeing his bride. Karla, on the other hand, seems completely unfazed, declaring the whole experience “exactly who I am.” Michelle, meanwhile, offers a more relatable perspective, summing up the situation as “bats**t crazy.”

We’ll see if Madison and Allen, the second couple to wed, have smoother sailing. But based on the preview, this season will have plenty of relationship turbulence.

Married at First Sight Season airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Lifetime.
