Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Premiere June 2 on Paramount+

Jeremy Renner’s crime drama Mayor of Kingstown will return for a third season, airing on Paramount+ on Sunday 2 June.

The series, created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, follows the McLusky family in Kingstown, Michigan. The town’s thriving industry is incarceration, and the family acts as a mediator between street gangs, prisoners, guards, and cops. Renner plays Mike McLusky, who takes over as mayor following his brother’s death.

Season three finds the town rocked by a series of explosions, as a new Russian mobster arrives and a drug war breaks out. Mike McLusky attempts to end the war but faces challenges of his own, including a familiar threat from his past.

The show has been a hit with viewers, though its second season premiered just two weeks after Renner suffered life-threatening injuries in a snowplow accident. Dillon, who also stars in the series, said Renner’s recovery and return to set was a relief.

With production underway since January 2024, fans don’t have long to wait for the explosive new season.
