MGM+ has confirmed the renewal of Billy the Kid for an eight-episode third season. The series, starring Tom Blyth, will conclude with this final chapter, continuing the epic story inspired by the legendary American outlaw. The narrative picks up after the Lincoln County War, with Billy still on the run and Sheriff Pat Garrett determined to capture him, dead or alive.

As Billy contemplates leaving New Mexico to start a new life with his love, Dulcinea, unfinished business with Garrett keeps him from fleeing. Their strained relationship and unresolved betrayal will fuel the conflict in the final season. Jesse Evans, Billy’s former friend turned adversary, also remains in Lincoln, seeking redemption for his past.
