Michael Keaton & Billie Eilish Summoned for SNL, But Who’s Really Haunting Studio 8H?

Saturday Night Live Generic

Looks like SNL is getting spooky a little early this year. Michael Keaton returns for his fourth hosting gig, and the latest promo has him playing straight man (or trying to, anyway) to Chloe Fineman’s chaotic energy.

In a bit of Beetlejuice-inspired brilliance, Fineman attempts to conjure musical guest Billie Eilish (also making her fourth SNL appearance) with mixed results. Let’s just say, if you’re looking for actual exorcisms, stick to cable.

The real haunting here might be Fineman herself, who manages to crack Keaton’s typically stoic demeanor, proving that even Batman isn’t immune to a good giggle fit. This pairing has the potential for comedic gold, or at least a few entertainingly awkward moments.

Tune in this Saturday to see if they can pull off a séance of laughter or if the whole thing ends up feeling like a lukewarm pumpkin spice latte. After this, the show takes a Halloween break, returning November 2nd with John Mulaney and musical guest Chappell Roan. Maybe they’ll bring the real ghosts.
