Lifetime presents a biopic about television personality and cult icon, Miss Cleo. The movie, Miss Cleo: Her Rise and Fall, premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, August 10, at 8/7c, followed by the documentary Call Me Miss Cleo at 10/9c.

The film stars Robin “The Lady of Rage” Allen, Shane Johnson, and Ian Bohen. It is directed by Tim Reid and chronicles the story of Youree Dell Harris, a single mom who joins the Psychic Readers Network in the late ’90s to support her family. She rises to become one of the network’s most beloved figures, adopting the persona of Miss Cleo.

However, her fame is short-lived as the network faces allegations of fraud and deception, and Miss Cleo finds herself facing scrutiny. The movie will present Miss Cleo’s perspective on the controversy, offering an insight into her life and her struggle to clear her name.

The film is produced by Hillionaire Productions for Lifetime, with Jami McCoy-Lankford and Samone Norsworthy serving as executive producers, alongside Anthony Standberry, Ahmed Hussain, and William J. Cone as consulting producer. The screenplay is written by Camara Davis, and the movie is directed by Tim Reid.
