My 600-Lb. Life: Where Are They Now?: Seana & J.T. (TLC, June 5, 2024)

My 600-Lb. Life: Where Are They Now? returns to TLC on Wednesday June 5, with an update on Seana and J.T. Clark, who once weighed almost 900 pounds. Seana’s mind is prepared for surgery, but her body still struggles with the scale. Meanwhile, J.T. is finally ready to address his massive leg through surgery.

Seana’s Story

Seana, a 23-year-old native of Kansas City, weighed 660 pounds when viewers first met her in season 8 of My 600-lb Life. She struggled with depression and anxiety due to an abusive father, which led to her turning to food for comfort from an early age. By the age of 16, she weighed 400 pounds and dropped out of school due to teasing from her peers. Seana’s mother committed her to a mental hospital, but this did little to address her underlying issues.

Under the care of Dr. Now, Seana was tasked with losing weight on her own before being approved for weight loss surgery. Unfortunately, she struggled to commit to the program and missed several weight check-ins. Despite losing 35 pounds at one point, she eventually gained most of the weight back. Dr. Now expressed concern about her lack of progress and her inability to address her mental health issues. He offered her a final chance to prove she was a good candidate for surgery.
