Netflix Talent Show “Rhythm + Flow” Launches Season 2 with new judges DJ Khaled, Ludacris, and Latto.

Netflix has announced the new judges for the upcoming season of its hit music competition series, “Rhythm + Flow.” DJ Khaled, Ludacris, and Latto will join the panel as judges, bringing their industry expertise to discover the next rap star.

The first special guest judge announced is Eminem, who will join the show’s “battles” round from a surprise location. The series promises additional music moguls and industry icons as guest judges, along with various twists and challenges that will be revealed at a later date.

Currently in production, the second season of “Rhythm + Flow” is set to premiere later this year on Netflix. The competition showcases contestants from all over the country who are hungry to prove themselves and compete for the grand prize of $250,000 and the title of hip hop’s newest star.

Brandon Riegg, Vice President of Nonfiction Series at Netflix, expressed his excitement about the upcoming season, stating that they are “taking things up a notch” with a new cast of judges and an impressive lineup of guest mentors like Eminem. The show aims to offer life-changing mentorship opportunities for contestants while showcasing the evolving spirit of hip-hop.

Executive Producers Jesse Collins & Dionne Harmon mentioned their enthusiasm for partnering with Netflix for the second season of “Rhythm + Flow,” noting that this season focuses not only on music but also seeks unconventional voices and authentic stories within hip-hop culture.

The winner of the first season of “Rhythm + Flow,” D Smoke, has since received Grammy and NAACP nominations. The show has also been adapted in other countries like France and Italy.

The production companies behind “Rhythm + Flow” include Jesse Collins Entertainment, Gaspin Media, and Get Lifted Film Co. Executive producers include John Legend, Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon Jeff Gaspin Jeff Pollack; Mike Jackson Ty Stiklorius David Friedman.
