On Saturday night, Lifetime presents the original movie Nobody Dumps My Daughter, a tale of a mother’s extreme lengths to reunite her daughter with her ex-boyfriend.
The film centers on Mary (Ana Ortiz), a mother who becomes obsessed with mending the relationship between her daughter, Theresa (Jasmine Vega), and her ex-boyfriend, Jimmy, after their breakup. Mary’s motivation intensifies when she discovers that Jimmy took Theresa’s virginity.
Determined to rekindle their romance, Mary resorts to various tactics, including bribery, to change Jimmy’s mind about the breakup. However, when her efforts prove futile, Mary’s desperation reaches new heights, and she turns to more sinister methods.
Mary enlists the help of a fortune teller named Anna (Sheila E.) and takes a dark turn when she hires a hitman with the intention of murdering Jimmy. Her extreme actions are driven by her desire to reclaim what she sees as her daughter’s purity and lost innocence.
