Netflix has confirmed that its comedy drama series Nobody Wants This will return for a second season in 2025. The announcement was made by Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria during the Bloomberg Screentime Conference in Los Angeles. The series, which has gained significant attention following it’s racent premiere, stars Kristen Bell and Adam Brody in the lead roles.
The storyline revolves around Joanne, an agnostic podcast host, and Noah, an unconventional rabbi, who meet at a party and sense a connection despite their contrasting views on life. Their relationship is tested by various modern challenges, as well as interference from their families, including Joanne’s sister Morgan and Noah’s brother Sasha.
Season 2 brings notable additions behind the scenes, with Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan stepping in as executive producers and showrunners. Nora Silver also joins the team as an executive producer. The show is produced by 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions.
Other executive producers for the series include Erin Foster, Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Oly Obst.
