ALLBLK has greenlit Wild Rose, a new eight-episode drama series starring and executive produced by Omarion. Created by Deji LaRay (Johnson, Escaping Paradise), the series presents a unique premise: a family of assassins who also run a non-profit organization.
Omarion plays Roosevelt, aka “Rose,” a skilled hitman raised within this unusual family business. Rose’s world is upended when his wife and daughter vanish, forcing him to question everything he thought he knew. As he searches for them, he uncovers a tangle of secrets that challenge his place within his own family and the organization they control.
While Omarion is best known for his music career, Wild Rose represents a significant step into the world of television production. He’ll be taking on the triple role of star, executive producer, and co-owner of the production company, Omarion Worldwide LLC, alongside Michelle Le Fleur and Deji LaRay.
For ALLBLK, Wild Rose represents a continued investment in original content aimed at Black audiences. Brett Dismuke, Nikki Love, and Kate Farrell are overseeing the project for the network.
Production on Wild Rose is set to begin this November in Los Angeles. ALLBLK holds exclusive worldwide rights to the series.
Wild Rose is an Omarion Worldwide production for ALLBLK. Executive Producers are Omarion, Michelle Le Fleur, and Deji LaRay for Omarion Worldwide; Brett Dismuke, Nikki Love, and Kate Farrell for ALLBLK. Dale S. Lewis and Erik White direct.
