Oscar-Winner Marion Cotillard Joins Apple TV+’s ‘The Morning Show’ for Season 4

Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard has been cast in the fourth season of the Apple TV+ series “The Morning Show.” Cotillard will portray Celine Dumont, a savvy operator from a prestigious European family.

Cotillard joins returning series regulars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Nicole Beharie, and Jon Hamm.

Known for her roles in “La Vie en Rose,” “Inception,” “Rust and Bone,” “Contagion,” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” Cotillard became the second French actress to win an Oscar in 2008 for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in “La Vie en Rose.”

“The Morning Show” looks into the competitive world of morning news and the lives of those who deliver it. Season 3 concluded with Alex (Aniston) attempting to halt the acquisition of UBA by proposing a merger between UBA and NBN.

The series is executive produced by Witherspoon and Aniston, directed and executive produced by Mimi Leder, and executive produced by Michael Ellenberg. Charlotte Stoudt serves as showrunner and executive producer under her multi-year overall deal with Apple TV+.
