OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network has announced the return of “First-Time Buyer’s Club,” a half-hour series documenting the house-hunting journeys of first-time home buyers. The new season will premiere on Friday, September 13, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, offering a genuine and detailed look at the process of becoming a homeowner.
The series features Amina Stevens, a former teacher-turned-realtor, who believes homeownership is within everyone’s reach. Filmed in the Tampa Bay area, each episode highlights Amina’s personalised approach to assisting her clients in tackling the housing market. She educates and inspires those who may find the process intimidating, simplifying the myths and complexities of homeownership.
The season starts with a double episode on September 13, introducing Dwayne and Lynnise, a military family returning from Guam with only a few days to find a home. The second episode features Kashel and Brent, a young couple searching for their dream home in a challenging market. Amina guides them through the advantages and disadvantages of various properties, considering their preferences and budget.
Other episodes include Angela, a single mother seeking a multi-generational home, and Tina, a medical professional embarking on her first home-buying journey at age 40.
“First-Time Buyer’s Club” is produced by Red Arrow Industries for OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
