Paramount+ has revealed that its Australian original series, “Fake,” has not only drawn a significant audience but also broken subscription and streaming records. The eight-part psychological thriller, inspired by journalist Stephanie Wood’s memoir, has attracted a surge of new subscribers to the platform.

Starring Gold Logie award-winning actress Asher Keddie and Australian Film Institute award-winning actor David Wenham, “Fake” explores a compelling story of deception. The series resonates with anyone who has experienced the impact of lies.
