The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh, inspired by the personal experiences of Emmy-nominated creator Vijal Patel, makes its debut on Prime Video on Thursday.
The comedy follows the Pradeep family as they settle into their new life in America after relocating from India. The story takes place through humorous and conflicting flashbacks from an interrogation room.
The story centers on the Pradeep family’s first few months in America and their unexpected involvement with a neighboring family, the Mills.
Arjun Sriram plays Kamal Pradeep, while Ashwin Sakthivel takes on the role of Vinod Pradeep, the two family members at the heart of the show.
The cast also includes the talented Ethan Suplee as Jimbo Mills, Megan Hilty as Janice Mills, and Naveen Andrews as Mahesh Pradeep.
The cast also includes Nicholas Hamilton as Stu Mills, Pete Holmes as Dark Suit, and Romy Rosemont as Light Suit, Sahana Srinivasan as Bhanu and Sindhu Vee as Sudha Pradeep.
The series is executive produced by Jordana Mollick, Mandy Summers, Michael Showalter, who also directs the pilot, Sara Gilbert, Tom Werner, and Vijal Patel, who serves as the creator and executive producer.
The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
