NBCUniversal is raising the bar for Olympic primetime coverage with its newly rebranded show, “Primetime in Paris,” offering viewers an immersive experience from the heart of the French capital. The show will be hosted by Mike Tirico, who will be situated at the iconic Trocadero, with the Eiffel Tower and River Seine as a breathtaking backdrop.

The network’s signature primetime show will showcase the very best of the Paris 2024 Olympics, featuring enhanced storytelling, unprecedented access, and innovative technology to bring viewers closer to the action.

Here’s what sports enthusiasts can look forward to:

– Main Title Sequence: Created in collaboration with Imaginary Forces, the cinematic opening sequence will be set to a new rendition of the iconic Olympic theme, “Bugler’s Dream,” setting the tone for a dynamic and evolving primetime presentation.

– Gold Medal Victories: Kicking off each episode, viewers will typically witness a gold medal victory from the day’s competitions within the first 10 minutes, sharing the life-changing moments with the athletes.

With Paris six hours ahead of the US Eastern Time Zone, viewers can expect live daytime coverage of swimming, gymnastics, track & field, and more on NBC and Peacock. Paris 2024 will also mark the most programming hours on the NBC broadcast network for any Olympics to date.
