A new psychological reality series, Master of the Game, is set to debut on French television. The show, a joint venture between TF1 and Fremantle, will see a group of celebrities compete to uncover a hidden “Master of the Game.”

In the series, twelve celebrities will be invited to participate in a mystery game with a substantial cash prize up for grabs. Their objective: to uncover the identity of the elusive “Master of the Game,” a charismatic figure who orchestrates the entire experience from the shadows. However one of the twelve contestants is secretly in league with the Master, working to undermine the others.

The contestants will face a series of challenges, including the “Room of 100 Faces,” a gallery of potential suspects. They will also need to solve puzzles and tackle immersive tasks.

At the end of each episode, a tense voting ceremony will take place, where a suspected accomplice will be eliminated. The remaining contestants will then have the opportunity to question the Master.

Master of the Game is the latest addition to the growing trend of psychological reality formats, which have gained popularity in recent years.

The series will premiere on TF1 on October 11, with Laurent Ruquier as the host. The celebrity cast includes Elsa Bois, Max Boublil, Cartman, Valérie Damidot, Frédéric Diefenthal, Arnaud Ducret, Claire Francisci-Ducret, Jeanfi Janssens, Kody, Chantal Ladesou, Sarah Mortensen, and Francis Perrin.
