Rachael Ray is heading to A&E with a double dose of programming this holiday season. First up is Rachael Ray’s Holidays, a six-episode series offering viewers a peek inside Ray’s kitchen as she prepares festive dishes.

From classic roasts to more unconventional chili and lasagna, Ray aims to provide culinary inspiration for a variety of holiday gatherings. Following the cooking show, A&E will premiere Rachael Ray’s Rebuild, a series focused on helping families reconstruct their homes after disasters.

Rachael Ray’s Holidays plays to Ray’s strengths, focusing on accessible recipes and her relatable, down-to-earth presentation style. The series seems designed to be comfort viewing, offering viewers a taste of holiday warmth and culinary ideas.

Rachael Ray’s Rebuild takes a different tack, leveraging Ray’s experience to assist families facing the daunting task of rebuilding after disaster. The series goes beyond just the structural repairs, addressing the financial, logistical, and emotional challenges that come with such an undertaking. This focus on the human side of home renovation could differentiate the show from other home improvement programs, potentially offering a more grounded and empathetic perspective.

Both series are part of an ongoing partnership between A&E Networks and Ray’s Free Food Studios. Rachael Ray’s Holidays premieres December 8th at 10am ET/PT, followed immediately by Rachael Ray’s Rebuild at 11am ET/PT, both as part of A&E’s Home.Made.Nation block.
