Hon. Pete Buttigieg, the 19th Secretary of Transportation, will be discussing his political career. Buttigieg is a graduate of Harvard University and a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford. He served as mayor of his hometown of South Bend, Indiana, from 2012 to 2020, and is the first openly gay person confirmed to serve in a president’s Cabinet.

Larry Wilmore, an American comedian, writer, producer, and actor, will be discussing his career. Wilmore served as the “Senior Black Correspondent” on The Daily Show from 2006 to 2014 and hosted The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore in 2015 and 2016. He is also the creator of the sitcom The Bernie Mac Show and the co-creator of the HBO series Insecure.

Byron Donalds, an American politician and financial analyst, will be discussing his career. Donalds has served as the U.S. representative for Florida’s 19th congressional district since 2021, as a member of the Republican Party. He previously worked in the finance, insurance, and banking industries and was a member of the Tea Party movement.

Real Time with Bill Maher airs Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:00 p.m. on HBO.
