Shark Tank Episode 1605 (ABC, Friday, November 15, 2024)

Shark Tank Key Art

Another Friday night and another chance to watch people with dubious ideas try to convince millionaires to give them money. That’s the enduring appeal of Shark Tank, and this week’s episode doesn’t deviate from the well-worn formula.

Four new entrepreneurs enter the Tank, hoping their pitches for a kid-friendly cardboard cutter, some sort of athletic grip enhancer, a content creation camp for kids, and a “new take” on sweet tea (because apparently, regular sweet tea isn’t cutting it anymore) will entice the Sharks to open their wallets.

Let’s be honest, the cardboard cutter sounds like a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. One can only imagine the Sharks’ reactions to a product seemingly designed to put small children in charge of sharp objects. But hey, maybe there’s some patented safety feature we’re not aware of.

The grip enhancer? Could be anything from a revolutionary new material to some sticky goop that ends up on everything. And the kids’ content camp? Presumably, this is aimed at creating the next generation of TikTok influencers, which is either a brilliant business strategy or a harbinger of the apocalypse, depending on your perspective. As for the sweet tea… well, let’s just hope it’s more than just tea with extra sugar.

Guest Shark Rashaun Williams joins the regular panel, bringing his supposed expertise and investment capital to the table. Will he be the voice of reason, or will he get caught up in the feeding frenzy? Tune in to see if any of these entrepreneurs manage to snag a deal or whether they’ll just become another cautionary tale in the annals of Shark Tank.
