In “Eye of the Storm,” the fourth episode from this second season of “Sullivan’s Crossing,” trapped in Cal’s cabin by a raging storm, Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Cal’s (Chad Michael Murray) simmering attraction reaches a boiling point.
Forced to confront their feelings in close quarters, will they finally give in to temptation, or will they continue their dance of denial? It’s the kind of contrived scenario that romance dramas thrive on, a perfect storm of forced proximity and heightened emotions. One can almost hear the swelling strings and the crackling fireplace.
Meanwhile, Sydney (Lindura) reveals the real reason she quit her job at the diner. Is it a tale of workplace harassment, culinary burnout, or simply a better job offer at a less greasy spoon?
Rob (Reid Price) finally admits why he’s struggling with Finn, and finally, Frank (Tom Jackson) manages to jog Sully’s memory about something important he’s forgotten.
