Chefs face off in a culinary competition outside a grocery store in another episode Supermarket Stakeout. Hosted by Alex Guarnaschelli, the chefs must show off their skills and creativity by negotiating with shoppers leaving the store to acquire ingredients for their dishes.
In this episode, titled “All-American Parking Lot,” the chefs are challenged to create ballpark dishes that will knock it out of the park.
They must then shift gears and cook up something with a Southern twist for judges Pyet DeSpain and Jeff Mauro. The pressure intensifies as the final two chefs go head-to-head, baking cookies in the hopes of securing the win.
