UK drama Sweetpea premieres on Starz on Thursday, October 10, 2024, introducing viewers to Rhiannon Lewis, a quiet wallflower whose life takes a darkly comedic turn.
Based on the book by C.J. Skuse, the six-part limited series stars Ella Purnell as Rhiannon, a woman who discovers a liberating taste for murder after her father’s death and the return of a bully.
The series premiere, titled “Sorry For Your Loss,” sets the tone for Rhiannon’s journey as she reaches a violent breaking point in response to the triggers in her life.
Joining Ella Purnell in the principal cast are Calam Lynch as AJ, Dustin Demri-Burns as Jeff, Jeremy Swift as Norman, Jon Pointing as Craig, Leah Harvey as Marina, and Nicôle Lecky as Julia.
