Actress Jackie Zeman, known for her role as Bobbie Spencer on “General Hospital,” will be honored with a special tribute episode in the upcoming season of “The Bay,” set to stream on PopstarTV this fall. Zeman also portrayed the character Sofia Madison on “The Bay,” and the tribute episode will be titled ‘Sofia,’ featuring a memorial service for the character.
Showrunner Gregori Martin shared the news with Variety, revealing that the episode will include guest stars Leigh McCloskey and Tamara Braun, both known for their roles on “General Hospital.” McCloskey played Damian Smith, Bobbie’s lover, while Braun portrayed Bobbie’s daughter Carly.
In the tribute episode, Braun will appear as Rita “Elise” Kennedy, a blind woman who receives Sofia’s donated corneas. The character’s name is a touching tribute to Zeman’s mother and two granddaughters.
