The renovation journey continues in Series 5, Episode 5 of The Great House Giveaway, airing on Channel 4. In this episode, electrician Jedd and groundworker Cameron, are paired up and presented with a challenging opportunity.
The duo is given a small terraced home in a highly desirable area of Bristol, along with a renovation budget of £30,000 and just six months to transform the property into an appealing purchase for first-time buyers. It’s a booming market, and the pressure is on to make the most of this chance.
However, Jedd and Cameron make a bold decision that goes against the advice of presenter Simon O’Brien. They choose to sacrifice a bedroom, converting the house from a three-bedroom to a two-bedroom starter home. It’s a risky strategy, and the question remains: will their unconventional choice pay off?
