PC Brian Camsell finds himself in a late-night pursuit of a suspect in Newcastle who refuses to stop. The dangerous driving leads them off-road and through residential areas before the suspect crashes into a parked car and attempts to flee, only to be swiftly tackled by Brian.
Meanwhile, in Northumberland, PC Jan Simlesa’s morning commute patrol takes an unexpected turn when a vehicle linked to drugs passes by. He discovers the driver, dressed in pajamas and a dressing gown, with a stash of drugs and a large knife in the van. To make matters worse, the driver is also found to be unlicensed.
Later, PC Jan Simlesa pairs up with PC Jamie Leslie for the night shift in Newcastle, where they encounter a speeding sports car. The argumentative driver claims to be sober, insisting he just finished a shift as a bus driver. However, a roadside breathalyser test reveals a surprising truth.
