Looks like someone’s taking election season a little too seriously. In The Neighborhood 7×03, “Welcome to the Vote,” airing Monday on CBS, Dave hosts a “ballot-palooza” – because apparently, a regular election night party is just too pedestrian.
Expect lengthy discussions on every candidate and proposition, likely accompanied by Dave’s signature brand of over-enthusiasm. One can only imagine the bewildered looks on Calvin’s face as Dave digs into the minutiae of local zoning regulations. And how will the rest of the crew handle Dave’s intense civic engagement? Will they embrace the ballot-palooza with open arms, or will they be looking for the nearest escape route?
Meanwhile, Gemma, ever the responsible citizen, takes her role as precinct captain at Walcott Academy very, very seriously. Will her organizational skills survive the onslaught of voters? Or will chaos reign at the polls? Perhaps a little bit of both.
Given the history of this group, a smooth election day seems highly unlikely. It’s a safe bet that Gemma will be tested, and the possibility of some vote-related shenanigans is always on the table. One thing’s for sure, this election night on The Neighborhood is shaping up to be anything but dull.
The Neighborhood: Welcome to the Vote airs Monday November 4, 2024 at 8.00pm on CBS.
