The Real CSI: Miami continues with it’s second episode, “Game Over,” airing on CBS on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 10 p.m. The episode focuses on the mysterious murder of 21-year-old James Barry, who met his tragic end in a house filled with his loved ones.
James Barry was a 21-year-old gamer who was stabbed to death in his mother’s Loxahatchee, Florida home in November 2016. His mother’s boyfriend, Guy Hand, found him fatally wounded in his bedroom and attempted CPR, but James died before the paramedics arrived.
James’s ex-girlfriend Melanie Eam was arrested for his murder. She confessed to stabbing him after he broke up with her via text, but pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder. She told detectives that James had “set her off” by ending their relationship through text instead of in person. Melanie’s defence team pointed the finger at Guy, as he moved the murder weapon after the police arrived at the home.
