The Danish crime drama, The Sommdahl Murders, continues with Episodes 5 and 6, airing back-to-back on Channel 4 this Friday at 9 pm. This eight-part series, presented by Walter Presents, offers a glimpse into the professional and personal challenges faced by obsessive detective Dan Sommerdahl.
In these two episodes, the body of a middle-aged playboy entrepreneur, Peter Mynster-Schmidt, is discovered on the same day that his company’s accountant goes missing. This intriguing coincidence presents Detective Sommerdahl and his partner, Flemming, with multiple lines of investigation. It appears that the deceased wasn’t the only one leading a secretive double life.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Dan Sommerdahl is feeling neglected by his wife, Marianne. He seeks ways to recapture her attention and reignite the spark in their relationship.
