CBS’s The Talk is set to offer a double shot of star power this Thursday with appearances by Bonnie Hunt and Skye P. Marshall. Hunt, known for her comedic timing and warm presence, will discuss her role in Amazon’s Christmas action-comedy Red One. Marshall, meanwhile, will be on hand to talk about her work in CBS’s reboot of the legal drama Matlock.
Hunt joins the Talk table to share insights into playing Mrs. Claus in Red One. The film, which also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and J.K. Simmons as Santa Claus, is expected to bring a healthy dose of holiday cheer with an action-packed twist. Check out the trailer below.
Marshall will discuss her role as Olympia Lawrence in the new Matlock series. The character is an ambitious lawyer working with the legendary Madeline Matlock, played by Kathy Bates.
Red One boasts a seriously stacked cast, including Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and Kiernan Shipka. This star-studded ensemble hopes to generate excitement during the competitive holiday movie season.
As for Matlock, the rebooted series has quickly found its own audience and has already been renewed for a second season.
