On Monday, The Talk commemorates a special occasion: host Sheryl Underwood’s birthday. The festivities will be accompanied by a visit from Lena Waithe, who will discuss her new children’s book, What I Must Tell the World. This picture book biography focuses on the life and work of Lorraine Hansberry, the playwright behind the groundbreaking Broadway production A Raisin in the Sun, the first Broadway play by a black woman.
Also joining the conversation is actor Danny Trejo, fresh off receiving the Icon Award at the Arpa International Film Festival. Trejo will share details about his Halloween plans at his restaurant, Trejo’s Tacos.
