On Monday, The Today Show welcomes Ryan Reynolds, Laura Jarrett, Poppy Harlow, and the cast of the Broadway musical “The Outsiders.”
Ryan Reynolds discusses his new film “IF,” an American live-action/animated fantasy comedy. “IF” explores the imaginative world of a young girl and her neighbor, played by Reynolds, who can see her imaginary friends. The film, directed by John Krasinski, also stars Krasinski, Steve Carell, and Maya Rudolph.
Laura Jarrett, a senior legal correspondent for NBC News and co-anchor of Saturday TODAY, joins Poppy Harlow, a CNN news anchor and Emmy-nominated journalist, to discuss their children’s book, “The Color of Love.” The book, illustrated by Elisa Chavarri, celebrates the many meanings of love through the eyes of a young student named Grace.
The cast of “The Outsiders,” a Broadway musical based on the novel by S.E. Hinton and Francis Ford Coppola’s film, will perform on the show. “The Outsiders” tells a timeless tale of the bonds between brothers and the hopes that unite people from different social classes. The musical features music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival and is directed by Danya Taymor.
