On Monday July 8, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon welcomes actress and singer Scarlett Johansson, actress Joey King, and rock band Sublime to the show.
Scarlett Johansson, the world’s highest-paid actress in 2018 and 2019, joins the show to discuss her recent projects. Johansson, known for her roles in blockbusters such as The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, has also taken on riskier roles in films like Her and Under the Skin. She has received numerous accolades, including a British Academy Film Award, a Tony Award, and nominations for two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards. Johansson is also an active advocate for women’s rights, co-founding the Time’s Up initiative to protect women from harassment and discrimination.
Joey King, who began her acting career at the age of four, gained recognition for her lead role in the comedy film Ramona and Beezus (2010). Sublime, an American rock band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. The band combines punk rock and hardcore punk with hip-hop, heavy metal, and reggae. Their self-titled third album, released in 1996, marked their major commercial breakthrough, spawning hits such as “What I Got” and “Santeria.” Sublime has sold over 17 million albums worldwide and continues to influence modern reggae and ska acts.
