The Traitors Season 3: Predicting a Peacock Premiere Date

Peacock’s hit reality competition, The Traitors, is slated for a winter return, and the burning question on everyone’s mind is, “When?” While the network remains tight-lipped, offering only a vague “winter” window, we can indulge in some educated guesswork based on previous seasons.

Both The Traitors Season 1 and Season 2 premiered on January 12th, establishing a pattern that suggests a similar timeframe for Season 3. However, January 12th, 2025, falls on a Sunday, potentially disrupting Peacock’s established Thursday night release schedule for the show.

If Peacock intends to stick to Thursdays, a January 9th premiere seems likely, aligning with the mid-January timeframe and providing a consistent weekly rollout. A Friday, January 10th premiere is also a possibility, splitting the difference between the traditional date and the preferred day. Of course, Peacock could throw us a curveball entirely, opting for a different day or even pushing the premiere later into the winter months.

The anticipation is killing me. A show built on deception and paranoia shouldn’t be this cagey about its own release date. Come on, Peacock, give us a break. We’re already stressed enough trying to figure out who the Traitors are going to be this season. And speaking of which…

The cast list for Season 3 reads like a reality TV all-stars roster, with familiar faces from Survivor (Jeremy Collins and Carolyn Wiger), Big Brother (Britney Haynes and Danielle Reyes), The Bachelor franchise (Gabby Windey), The Real Housewives (Dolores Catania), and even a British royal (Lord Ivar Mountbatten) thrown into the mix. It’s a motley crew with varying levels of strategic prowess, setting the stage for potential fireworks. Will the Survivor alums dominate? Will a Housewife emerge as a master manipulator? Or will a dark horse candidate surprise us all?

One thing’s for sure: with a cast this eclectic and a $250,000 prize on the line, The Traitors Season 3 is set to be a wild ride. Now, if only we knew exactly when that ride would begin.
