Tuesday’s “Today” show has a little something for everyone, or at least for everyone who appreciates a potent cocktail of celebrity memoirs, holiday shopping bargains, and dessert recipes that won’t derail your New Year’s resolutions.
First up, the one and only Cher graces Studio 1A to discuss “Cher: The Memoir, Part One.” Expect the unexpected as the iconic singer and actress likely shares anecdotes and insights from her remarkable life and career. Let’s face it, with Cher, a straightforward interview is about as likely as a snowstorm in July.
If you’re already stressing about holiday feasts, Jessica Seinfeld, author of “Not Too Sweet,” will be on hand to alleviate your dessert anxieties. Seinfeld looks set to offer up recipes that cater to a variety of ages and dietary restrictions, proving that festive treats can be both delicious and health-conscious.
For those eager to get a jump on their holiday shopping, “Today” welcomes back Jill Martin with her ever-popular “Steals & Deals” segment. Martin aims to arm viewers with the knowledge and deals they need to conquer Black Friday and beyond, or at least emerge with their wallets slightly less bruised.
And because holiday travel can be more stressful than assembling a gingerbread house after one too many eggnogs, TSA Administrator David Pekoske offers advice to make your journey smoother. He’ll provide insights on how to handle the airport chaos, or as I like to call it, the most wonderful time of the year (for airlines, anyway).
Also on the agenda: “Today’s Checklist” aims to debunk nutrition myths, “The Upside” features a heartening story about a London cafe’s community outreach, and Amy E. Goodman provides inspiration for personalized holiday gifts.
Tune in to “Today” on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 7:00 a.m. on NBC.
